VTV.vn - The number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Ho Chi Minh City is now on a downward trend, as announced at a press conference on Sept 24th by Ho Chi Minh City's Steering Committee for Covid-10 Prevention and Control.

This week, Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with the biggest reduction in fatalities in the Southern region with 18.4%, compared with 10% in Long An, 6.4% in Đồng Nai, and 3% in Bình Dương.

The city has also set up 22 inspection teams and worked with 14 out of 21 districts and Thủ Đức city to promptly assess the results of control measures to map out a pandemic prevention strategy for resuming activities in the city.
