The documentary The Glorious Road will air next November. To carry out this VTV Special , the crew followed a Tuong art troupe who perform in communal houses and ancient temples in the Mekong river delta provinces.
In the form of a reality show, VTV Special- The Glorious Road has many notable highlights.
To make the documentary, the film crew of VTV has traveled with the art troupe to shoot more than 100 hours of film during 18 months and obtain the candid scenes.
"The art troupe gathers people from many places to perform during the holidays and Lunar New year festival. Being with them, I realized that this story deserves a documentary."
It is not easy for the film crew to be part of the art troupe and immerse in their world. The Glorious Road contains contrasting images between the life on the stage and real life, objectively tells about the daily life of the artists. The unique cultural traits of Tuong and the artists' lives will be clearly shown in the film.
