Northern water cargo route opened

The firm will operate 2-3 cargo vessels a week from Hải Linh Port in Việt Trì City, Phú Thọ Province to Hải Phòng City. Domestic waterway transport is 50 percent cheaper than road transportation. It is especially suitable for the transport of containers, easing road traffic. In future, Vinalines Container will continue expanding its services in the Mekong Delta region, creating a service chain connecting economic zones, industrial parks and major commercial ports to reduce transport costs.
