The rain has been mainly focused in areas such as Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, Cao Bang, the Southern Delta region, and provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ninh.
The average rainfall level is 80-140mm, with some areas reaching over 160mm. Due to the heavy rain, low-lying areas and urban areas face a heightened risk of flooding while mountainous areas face a high risk of flash floods and landslides.
