Lang Son faces the steepest challenge, with a required growth rate of 18.41%, the highest in the country. Vinh Long and Thanh Hoa are also expected to exceed 17%.
Hanoi, one of Vietnam's two largest economic centres, is tasked to expand by 16.55% in the final three months to achieve its full-year growth target of 11%.
To support these targets, ministries and local authorities have been requested to fast-track projects that can be completed and put into operation soon, while helping businesses expand production and investment.
The Government is also pushing for faster public investment disbursement, including the allocation of more than 754 million US dollars in remaining State budget funds.
It has also ordered agencies and local authorities to address long-delayed projects and make more effective use of surplus public land and buildings following administrative restructuring.
