Hoan made the statement at a meeting held at the newspaper’s headquarters in Hanoi on April 10 for a delegation of the Saint Petersburg's Committee for External Relations, led by the committee’s deputy head Vyacheslav G. Kalganov.
He shared that Nhan Dan Newspaper has launched its online Spanish-language version and a representative office in Moscow, showing its great attention to Russia and the city of Saint Petersburg in particular.
He noted with pleasure that a great number of Vietnamese readers show their interest in the situation in Russia and Saint Petersburg, particularly those who lived, studied, and worked in Russia.
Nhan Dan Newspaper wants to further cooperate with Saint Petersburg Newspaper, which will help to provide fully updates on the city’s situation to Vietnamese people.
For his part, deputy head Vyacheslav G. Kalganov said that the city’s authorities highly value the cooperation with Nhan Dan Newspaper.
He expressed his hope that Nhan Dan Newspaper will provide more support in popularising friendship events between Vietnam and Russia, including the upcoming International Book Fair and Vietnamese Days in Saint Petersburg, which are scheduled to take place this May.
