It meets the requirements needed to be sold commercially in the Vietnamese market. Construction of the Nghi Son refinery complex commenced in 2013 with a total capital of over US$9 billion.
The project is jointly invested in by four contractors, namely PVN, Kuwait Petroleum International, Idemitsu Kosan and Mitsui Chemicals. The facility can annually produce 10 million tons of refined oil products.
