Several rains brought by typhoon Kujira have flooded farmland in low-lying districts. However, mountainous communes have conversely recorded serious drought, especially high temperatures have returned to northern central regions.
Many reservoirs in the province have experienced low water levels, proving unable to provide enough water for irrigation and household usage. Nghi Van Commune even though located near the largest irrigation project in the province still suffers water shortages. Improvements to water supply networks in the area remains much needed.
