* Real Madrid have secured financing to revamp the Santiago Bernabeu stadium with construction due to begin at the end of this season for completion by 2023, the Liga club said in a statement on Friday. * Manchester City linchpin Bernardo Silva faces a late fitness test before Sunday's Premier League trip to Crystal Palace, his manager Pep Guardiola said on Friday. The Portuguese international was on the sidelines for City's Champions League quarter-final first leg defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday with a muscle injury. * Crystal Palace defender James Tomkins will miss the remainder of the Premier League season with a groin injury, manager Roy Hodgson said on Friday. Tomkins, who has made 28 league starts this season, hobbled off in the second half of the 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at St James' Park last weekend.

* Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is a big doubt for their Premier League game at home to relegated Huddersfield Town on Saturday after breaking his hand but should be available to face Manchester City in the Champions League next week. Manager Mauricio Pochettino told reporters on Friday that the England international saw a specialist on Thursday after damaging his hand when he fell heavily in their 1-0 win over City in the first leg of their quarter-final clash on Tuesday.

* Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock believes the Welsh club need 10 points from their six remaining games to have any chance of preserving their Premier League status. Warnock's 18th-placed Cardiff visit Burnley on Saturday before facing Brighton & Hove Albion, who are five points above them, in a relegation 'six-pointer' next Tuesday.

* Greek Super League leaders PAOK are a victory away from securing their first domestic league title in 34 years and they could do it undefeated. The Thessaloniki-based club take on Larissa on Sunday and a win would given them an unassailable lead over second-placed Olympiakos. With three games left to play, PAOK, who have won 24 and drawn three matches so far, are 10 points ahead of Olympiakos, who have a game in hand.

* Eighth-seeded Sam Querrey survived two tiebreaks to defeat Serb Janko Tipsarevic 7-6(6) 7-6(4) and advance to the semi-finals of the US Men’s Clay Court Championship in Houston on Friday. Schalke ended their losing streak but remain on the 14th place of the standings.

* Manchester United can secure a top-three finish in the Premier League if they get 15 points from their remaining six games, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said on Friday.
