New thinking on diplomacy

At the meeting, the state president hailed the achievements in the implementation of the foreign policy in recent years. State President Quang praised the 29^th Diplomatic Conference for fully grasping the basics of the objectives under Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Party, and stressed that in the near future, ambassadors and overseas representative offices should renew their thinking, prioritise the sustainable development goals of the country to serve the country, strengthening the position of Vietnam in the world. In addition, the state president also urged ambassadors, and heads of Vietnamese representative offices abroad to contribute more in economics, trade and investment issues, besides completing their diplomatic duties.
