New terminal for Hai phong airport

In 2016, Cat Bi international airport was completed and brought into operation. Thanks to continuous expansion and increasing flights a second terminal with parking bays and internal connecting taxiways are necessary. The private sector will be involved in construction.

According to the municipal People’s Committee, the new terminal plays a pivotal role in the city and the Northern delta region’s socio-economic development strategy, expanding links between Hai Phong and other localities nationwide.

It will also be a key factor to future development of the tourism sector and efforts to attract increased levels of investment.
