NATO not intend to deploy new ground-based nuclear missiles in Europe

This statement was made ny NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Tuesday. Speaking at a press conference, the senior official said that the relevant issues of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty will be an important topic for discussion at a meeting for Defence Ministers, which will be held on today and tomorrow.

Currently, Nato is planning to strengthen its defensive capacity in preparation for the potential INF Treaty collapse.
