Under the theme “Nha Trang - ‘Colour of the Sea’, the National Tourism Year 2019 will feature hundreds of cultural, sports and tourism events, as well as seminars.
During the year, 13 activities will be jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other ministries and agencies, 50 more by Khanh Hoa province and a further 35 by 14 cities and provinces
Among the hundreds of activities during the coming year, the sea tourism festival “Symphony of the sea 2019”, the third conference on central coastal region development, a triathlon competition and Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 are a few of the highlights.
At the ceremony, the organising board launched the phone number *2258, which operates 24/7 to offer support and consultation for tourists.
The opening ceremony will be concurrent with the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa sea festival, slated for May 2019. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony is expected to be held on December 31, 2019.
According to Tran Son Hai, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in order to prepare for the National Tourism Year 2019, as well as to create conditions for tourism development, the province has directed its tourism industry to innovate and improve the quality of tourism products.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee agreed to select a set of photos to identify the National Tourism Year 2019 - Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, at the proposal of the Department of Culture and Sports; including five photos of the landscape of the sea, islands and tourism of Khanh Hoa: the panoramic view of the coast of Nha Trang city; Tran Phu street; Ponagar tower; Hon Chong - Hon Vo; Mui Doi (double capes) - Hon Dau.
In the coming time, the province will focus on embellishing urban areas to create a new, captivating and more attractive image when entering the National Tourism Year 2019.
