MOET Deputy Minister Ngo Thi Minh said that over its three editions, the festival has seen an increase in the number, quality and feasibility of entries. Accordingly, the first edition of the festival attracted more than 200 projects, and the figure doubled to 400 in 2019 and then tripled to 600 during this year’s event.

She emphasised that the event has contributed to promoting the creativity and start-up spirit of students through the organisation of start-up forums for students at 60 educational facilities in the 2020-2021 period.

She also noted with pleasure that the event has also attracted great attention from many businesses and investment funds.

Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam rejoiced at the encouraging outcomes of start-up activities among younger generation.

He hailed efforts made by universities and schools in establishing co-working spaces and investment funds to inspire start-up aspiration among their students.

He called on students to acquire knowledge while actively participating in social activities and start-up movements in order to fully equip themselves with the understanding and skills for such a changing world in the future.
