The three new deputy prime ministers include Trương Hòa Bình with 90% votes, Vương Đình Huệ with 89.5%, and Trịnh Đình Dũng with 81.8%.

The Resolution on Land Use Adjustment and Plan to 2020 was passed. Accordingly, the area of agricultural land will be increased by 306 thousand hectares in order to meet the demand of socio-economic development and to ensure food security. The National Assembly also passed amended draft laws on the signing, accession, and implementation of international agreements, and a resolution of approval on diplomatic notes on visas between Vietnam and the US.
