Meanwhile, the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens was approved with 91.51% of votes. According to the law, citizens can apply for their passport either in paper form or digital. They can also choose the address where they want to receive their passport. With 91.72% of votes in favor, the National Assembly also approved the revised Law on Civil Defense. The 3 laws will take effect on July 1st, 2020.
