With the consent of NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, General Secretary of the NA Nguyen Hanh Phuc has issued a notice regarding the projected agenda of the NASC’s 43rd session.
The notice clearly stated that the NA Office should promptly prepare the necessary conditions to best ensure the COVID-19 prevention and control work during the three-day sitting.
Under the scheduled agenda, at the meeting, the NASC will look into and comment on a number of draft laws on which there remain different views, including the draft law on investment in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), the draft law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Law on National Disaster Prevention and Control and the Law on Dykes, the draft law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, the draft law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Construction Law, the revised draft Law on Investment, the revised draft Law on Enterprises, and the draft Law on Vietnam Border Guard.
In addition, NASC deputies will consider and discuss the adjustment of the ratio of allocated expenditure to ensure the operation of the General Department of Taxation and the General Department of Vietnam Customs in the 2016-2020 period, and the moving of part of the allocated funding to ensure the operations of the General Department of Taxation to the General Department of State Reserves, the State Securities Commission and the Academy of Finance.
Also, the NASC will offer opinions on the financial and income management mechanism associated with characteristics of state administrative agencies, and on the draft Government Decree amending and supplementing some of articles of Decree No. 165/2016/ND-CP, dated December 24, 2016, detailing the management and use of state budget for a number of activities in the field of defence and security.
