The National Assembly greatly appreciated the Government's commitment to maintain high economic growth and stability, promptly cope with challenges such as climate change, natural disasters and epidemics, and the continuous efforts to promote anti-corruption.
However, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee also suggested the Government needs to study and objectively assess the prospects of global economic development such as the effects of the US-China trade tensions and regional and international defense and security issues, including the East Sea issue. Some comments also suggested the Government should pay more attention to emerging and controversial issues such as the fire at Rang Dong Company and water quality from Song Da water plant.
