NA discusses amendments to higher education law

Deputies at the sitting agreed that university autonomy was necessary; however the role and capabilities of the university council must be clarified. Therefore, the amendments must regulate conditions for autonomy, quality assessment mechanism as well as accountability. These regulations must be transparent and objective so that it is easy for the universities to comply with.
