VTV.vn - Chairwoman of the NA's Committee for Legal Affairs, Le Thi Nga, has asked the government to clarify the causes of current complaints and denunciations, although the situation has eased in 2016 compared to last year.

The request was made at the on-going fourth session of the NA Standing Committee in Hanoi on Tuesday, where the government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy reported on the settlement of complaints and denunciations.

The report revealed that state administrative agencies have resolved nearly 30,000 complaints and denunciation cases so far this year, 65% of which were related to real estate. Members of NA Standing Committee said that this figure showed the ineffectiveness of current solutions on the issue although the National Assembly issued a land law in 2013.

In the afternoon, the NA Standing Committee scrutinised the effectiveness of policies promoting science and technology to boost the country's development between 2005 and 2015, and the direction of development for the future with the focus on support, engineering, and manufacturing industries.
