NA Chairwoman meets Singapore Prime Minister

The Vietnamese leader wanted Singapore to invest in infrastructure, waste treatment, water management, renewable energy and smart electricity systems in Vietnam. She also hoped that Singapore would help Vietnamese companies access investment funds and further integrate into the global market.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Vietnam’s support would help Singapore promote the role of ASEAN in regional cooperation when it becomes ASEAN chairman next year. He said the two countries should foster cooperation in tourism and culture.
