According to the World Tourism Organization, in 2016 alone, about 6.5 million Vietnamese tourists travelled abroad. In recent years, the number of Vietnamese people traveling overseas has been increasing as GDP per capita has also been increasing. Domestic consumption habits have also changed. Some markets, such as South Korea and Japan, have experienced significant growth with an average of 50% while that figure in Australia, Europe and America is about 30%.
