More than 4,000 small bridges to be built
VTV.vn - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has just ratified a programme to build 4,000 bridges in areas with high ethnic populations until 2020.
More than US$408.9 million would be needed to build small bridges and maintain roads for over 5,200 villages across Vietnam. About US$385 million will be from a World Bank loan, while $13.2 million will be sourced from the central government's budget and the remaining $10.7 million from local budgets.
