The event attracted 1,200 students and more than 100 teachers.
According to the organiser, various activities were held from May 28 in response to Action Month for Children 2023.
A total of 27.4 billion VND was spent to organise activities, and present gifts to children, including more than 70,000 kids living in difficult circumstances across the country.
The activities included more than 4,600 entertainment events held for over 242,000 children; roughly 1,000 swimming classes for nearly 42,000 others, and delivery of 94 community houses and 91 reading rooms for local young pioneer organisations.
At the event, the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation, in coordination with the International Dairy Products Joint Stock Company, presented 60 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to disadvantaged children in Binh Dinh Province.
