Month of Action for Children launched

This aims to promote child care and protection, and mobilise social resources for the work. With the motto, "Joining hands to care for, educate, and protect children," the action month for children aims to engage socio-political organisations, social organisations, families, and communities in the program.

The People's Committee of localities nationwide were asked to build plans for activities of the action month suitable to their conditions. They also need to bolster communication work to raise their awareness and skills in child protection.

On the same day, the Prime Minister came to visit and present gifts to patients at the Viet Nam National Children's Hospital in which he asked the hospital to join hands with other medical facilities and the Health Ministry to thoroughly look at the pandemic's impacts on children's physical and psychological health.
