VTV.vn - Vietnam has not recorded any new case of COVID-19 as of 6am, May 2.

The total number of infections remains at 270, of which 219 have been cured. As some recovered cases relapse, HCMC has decided to supervise these cases through daily sampling until the 30th day after the discharge date.

For patients who have completed the 14-day-isolation after being discharged and tested negative on the 15th day, the health sector is requiring them to stay at home, to always wear masks, to wash their hands frequently, to avoid close contacts and to monitor their health until the 30th day.

Previously, HCMC has recorded 3 relapse cases who tested positive 5 to 15 days after being discharged. Currently, 35 out of 47 patients living in the area have completed 14 days of isolation after being discharged. All of them tested negative.
