This is a festive atmosphere in the Pa Khen Village, Nong Truong Town, Moc Chau District, Son La Province. Mong peopleflock here in this time of the year to celebrate National Day. They are rehearsing the traditional Tha Khenh dance and songs which are written about the happiness of an independent and prosperous life.
To Mong people, the National Day celebration also aims to reward farmers after a good agricultural season and this year’s event looks like it will be marked by a good harvest.
