Money assistance to flood victims in Ha Giang
VTV.vn - The Red Cross Society branch in Hà Giang Province is implementing many projects to assist affected residents in the flooded areas of Vietnam's northern mountainous provinces.
Many locals in Cao Bo and Viet Lam communes, Vi Xuyen District have received cash to buy necessities for their post flood life. Over 43,000 US dollars were given by the Red Cross to 340 households. This support will make it easier for affected residents to move from subsidence-prone areas to safer locations.
