Held within the framework of "Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024," "Miss Tourism in the Northwest region - Sapa 2023" is an annual competition aiming to seek outstanding individuals with talent, beauty, compassion, and a national spirit to become the tourism ambassador for the northwest region and work to promote the region’s tourism to both domestic and international visitors.
"Miss Tourism in the Northwest region - Sapa 2023" is open for female Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad who have permanent residency in the northern provinces and are working in the North-western region.
The contest honours the unique beauty of young women in mountainous areas, who will take part in musical performances, traditional cultural fashion shows, and social media promotion activities.
The final round of the contest will be held from July 22 to 28 in Sapa town.
The top three winners of the contest will earn tickets to the "Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024" finals to promote the beauty of North-western culture, its ethnic identities and people to the domestic and international communities.
At the press conference, the Sapa town People's Committee awarded the ‘Sapa Tourism Ambassador’ title to Luong Ky Duyen, who was crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2022.
