A working group from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development visited Yên Bái Province to inspect preparations to prevent hunger and cold for cattle.
Last year, over 1200 cattle died due to cold weather in the area. This year, local authorities have issued a number of policies to provide support for farmers.
Appreciating the efforts of local authorities, representatives from the Ministry have suggested the locality actively improve farmers' awareness and increase the application of technical advances in farming and making cattle breeding the main source of income for local people.
