Tú chose a classic style for the photoshoot challenge, saying “the retro theme helped me to portray a range of emotions.” By focusing on her facial expressions and getting into character, she tried not to use too much body movement.
Tú was awarded a score of 39 by the panel of judges, putting her in second place behind Shikin from Malaysia and ahead of Maureen from the Philippines.
“I am totally captivated by your performance,” said creative director Yu Tsai, one of the four judges.
Tú’s result is the highest by a Vietnamese contestant after 5 seasons of the show.
The show’s final round will be aired on June 28, 8pm on the Starworld channel.
