Watanabe Nobuhiro, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City visited and presented the Certificate of Merit to Military Hospital 175.
This is a special and meaningful event marking the sucessful development between Military Hospital 175 and the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City; Japan Business Association in particular and between the two countries in general.
The relationship between Military Hospital 175 and its Japanese partners in Ho Chi Minh City over the past time have continuously developed comprehensively and extensively in many fields, that shows even more deeply through the difficult and challenging period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Military Hospital 175 has successfully vaccinated and ensured the safety and effectiveness of 100 percent of Japanese citizens with more than 3,200 vaccinations. The hospital cooperates with the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City and relevant agencies to support the people of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Vinh Long, Ben Tre, Kien Giang, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Dong Thap provinces with a total 14,000 doses of the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
The COVID-19 Treatment Centre, Military Hospital 175 also successfully treated a number of patients who are Japanese citizens with both moderate and severe COVID-19 symptoms; health care as well as consulting for Japanese citizens in Ho Chi Minh City and parts of Japanese businesses in the area.
Over the past time, Military Hospital 175 and Japanese partners have had great cooperation and relationships in many fields, including: training and technology transfers, scientific research, nurse training, building nursing homes, and especially the Vietnam-Japan military medical cooperation achieving many significant accomplishments and contributions to the common development of Military Hospital 175.
Japan is considered a strategic partner of the Military Hospital 175 in the fields of international medical cooperation.
