Mekong Delta to improve agricultural sector

The region wants to develop sustainable agriculture capable of generating higher value for the economy. However, this target has remained elusive. After its official foundation by the end of this year, ASEAN Economic Community will add yet another impetus for the Mekong Delta and Vietnam at large to develop its agricultural industry in a more sustainable way. Only then can it prove itself strong enough to compete with its global rivals.
