Measures for flood response in Hanoi suburbs

The information was released at a press conference yesterday afternoon. After the recent flooding, Chương Mỹ, Mỹ Đức, and Quốc Oai districts were reported affected. Chương Mỹ District suffered the heaviest loss, with damage estimated at 11.6 million US dollars.

The district's leaders proposed to the city to deal with the left bank of Bùi River with concrete. The city will adjust the planning of residential and production areas, and build public facilities, schools, and clinics to respond to further flooding.
