Measures discussed to improve operation of industrial parks

The deputy prime minister emphasised the successful operation of economic zones and industrial parks in the country. 67% of the parks are occupied by both local and foreign manufacturers, with increasing capacity in terms of environmental protection and technology, with 84% of industrial parks now using waste water treatment plants.

In addition, the deputy prime minister also suggested the Ministry of Planning and Investment oversee and provide immediate assistance to help investors in industrial parks maintain their operations. Vietnam currently has 299 industrial parks.
