MARD seeks way to fight African swine fever in among pigs

Addressing the conference, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyễn Xuân Cường stated that African swine mainly occurs in individual households with poor hygiene and biosecurity conditions, not in large-scale intensive farms. Small-scale farming, which causes the spread of the disease to other provinces, is unavoidable.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development asked mountainous provinces such as Dien Bien, Son La, and Bac Kan to quickly review key areas and to advise people not to avoid using pork which will cause more difficulties to the agricultural sector.
