Central coastal region flights on September 14-15 have been cancelled as typhoon Doksuri nears. National carrier Vietnam Airlines have halted flights to Vinh, Dong Hoi, Hue and Danang City between 9 pm of September 14 and 2 pm today, September 15.
On September 15, Vietnam Airlines will also cancel 10 flights on the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City routes to Hue, Danang and Vinh and two flights from Danang to Da Lat City.

Vietnam Airlines said that the carrier will frequently update its flight schedule from and to the central airports based on the weather condition.
Budget airlines Vietjet have suspended many flights to Vinh, Hue and Chu Lai, Thanh Hoa, Da Lat, Dong Hai and Cam Ranh to Thanh Hoa.
On September 14, Jetstar Pacific halted and changed the schedule of four flights on the HCM City-Chu Lai and HCM City-Dong Hai routes.
Today, Jetstar Pacific will also suspend 12 flights on HCM City-Thanh Hoa, Vinh and Dong Hoi and Hue-Da Lat and Dong Hoi-Chiang Mai routes. Passengers of affected flights will be allowed to change their tickets to other flights or get a refund.
Vietnam Railways today has continued operating its train routes as normal. However, the firm warned passengers to be aware that weather conditions could affect travel.
Passengers will have their tickets refunded if they wish to cancel due to the weather.
