The information was revealed during a working visit by an Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources delegation from Feb 26th to March 2nd.
The delegation visited the northern province of Hưng Yên and the southern province of Bến Tre to examine the longan farming, processing and packaging procedures. The Australian department will draft an assessment report and import requirements for the product. The report should bring good news for Vietnam's fruit sector as Vietnamese fruits can be sold at high prices in Australia.
