"Long Mileage Country": nostalgic tourism program to explore the culture and regions of Vietnam.

VTV.vn - The Vietnam Railways Corporation in conjunction with VTV24 News Center - Vietnam Television launched the broadcast the program "Long Mileage Country" on July 16.

The "Long Mileage Country" program will introduce the exciting destinations across the country along the North-South railway, one of the world's oldest ones built in the late nineteenth century.

Through the stories told by the program hosts and the guests who are writers, poets, cultural researchers, the program depicts the cultural characteristics of each region where the train make a stop.

Nostalgia and the glittering images of Vietnam are the driving factors for guests and the audience in the journey by train.

52 episodes of weekly broadcasts are fascinating historical and cultural stories that even the familiar visitors of a region where the train stop may not possibly know.

It will be much more interesting if tourists know that Cam Giang Railway Station on the Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway does not only take tourists to explore Hai Duong province with the scenic Con Son - Kiep Bac and Chi Lang vestiges. Visitors will also learn the prototype of the train station in the book "Two children" by the writer Thach Lam.

In addition, the program features an useful information section to help the audience easily plan their journey from time to time in the year.

The program Long Mileage Country will be broadcast every Monday at 20h05 on VTV1 and 6h50 every Tuesday on VTV3.
