Long An has four border gates and openings for traders and residents to exchange goods, including: the Binh Hiep international border gate, the My Quy Tay main border gate, the Hung Dien A sub-border gate and another opening.
The authorities of Vietnam and Cambodia agreed to resume the circulation of import and export goods throughthe border gates and openings.
Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut directed that the reopening of operations at border gates must be implemented according topandemic prevention measures under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
The provincial border guards were also asked to coordinate with Cambodia’s entry and exit control force to maintain security and order at border gates and facilitate the transportation of goods in accordance with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
Long An province has a border perimeter of more than 133 km, passing through 20 communes in five districts and one border town, adjacent to 16 communes in two provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng in Cambodia.
