Long An province to build 4 high-tech agriculture zones
VTV.vn - The Mekong Delta province of Long An has recently decided to spend 57.24 million USD on supporting farmers in developing high-tech agriculture from now until 2020.

This amount of money will be used to develop major projects, including 20 thousand hectares of high-tech rice cultivation, 2000 hectares of dragon fruit farms in Chau Thanh District, 2000 hectares of vegetable farms in the Districts of Can Duoc, Can Giuoc, Duc Hoa and Tan An Town, and VietGAP standard cattle raising zones with 500 to 1000 cows. By 2020, high-tech agriculture is expected to account for 30% to 50% of the total agriculture production value in Long An Province.
