The ‘Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert 2019’ will gather nearly 100 talented artists with over 200-year-old valuable and rare musical instruments, promising to bring Hanoians and visitors to a classical music treat.
The LSO will perform eight famous art works, including Vietnamese national anthem 'Tien Quan Ca' (The Marching Song) and seven other international pieces.
This year’s concert will be conducted by Sir Simon Rattle - the legend of the world's classical music, who was honoured at the UK’s Classical Music Awards.
The organising board will broadcast the concert live through a 400-inch LED screen located in Dinh Tien Hoang street and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square beside Hoan Kiem Lake.
The concert, which is a great annual cultural event under a cooperation agreement between Vietnam Airlines and Hanoi municipal People’s Committee, is part of activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day (October 10).
The event will contribute to promoting the image of the land and people of Vietnam, especially the capital city of Hanoi, to international friends.
