London mayor calls for second Brexit referendum

Writing in the Observer, the Labour politician said that with the UK due to leave the EU in six months, it is now facing either a bad deal or a no-deal Brexit, both of which are incredibly risky. He disagreed with the government's handling of negotiations and said the threat to living standards, the economy and jobs is too great for voters not to have a say.

Britain is due to leave the EU on March 29, but Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit plans have not been accepted. She has repeatedly ruled out a second referendum.
