Localities prepare for Wipha storm

Localities in the affected areas are rushing to implement measures to cope with Storm Wipha.

In Thai Binh Province, nearly 79 thousand hectares of winter rice area face the risk of being flooded. The locality has developed a scenario for the timely rescue of the cultivated rice and crops. The local forces are mobilized to clear the drains, ensuring quick drainage for areas at risk of flooding.

In Ninh Binh Province, as of this morning, there were more than 100 boats and more than 300 crew members evacuted to the safe zone. The clam workers outside the dyke have also entered the safe zone. Border guard forces strictly control and prevent vessels from going out to sea.
