VTV.vn - A huge influx of visitors flocked to tourist attractions and spiritual festivals in many localities across the country during the Tet holiday.

The Tay Thien tourism site in Dai Dinh Town, Tam Dao District, Vinh Phuc Province, received more than 230,000 visitors during the Tet holiday. The visitors came to admire the beauty of the Tam Dao Mountains, offer incense to Tay Thien Mother Goddess and participate in the Buddhist Festival at the Great Stupa Mandala Tay Thien.

*The northern mountainous province of Ha Giang welcomed nearly 90,000 domestic and international visitors during the Lunar New Year holiday, the highest number ever recorded during Tet.

Well-known tourist sites such as the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark, the Lung Cu flagpole, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Sung La Valley, the Vuong family mansion, Nho Que River, and the ancient town of Dong Van were constantly overloaded by huge numbers of visitors and vehicles.

*The northern province of Lao Cai received more than 255,000 visitors during Tet, up 160% compared to the same period last year, including over 3,000 foreign visitors.

In particular, the Sa Pa tourism site saw the arrival of more than 88,000 tourists, an increase of 3,500 visitors compared to Tet 2022.

*During the seven day of the Tet holiday, Mong Cai City in Quang Ninh Province welcomed nearly 9,000 visitors, including nearly 3,000 overnight visitors. They mainly visited tourism sites such as Sa Vi, Xa Tac Temple, Xuan Lan Pagoda, Nam Tho Pagoda, Po Hen National Historical Relic Site, the border area, the golf course, and others.
