Live TV Gratitude 2023: I Chose Teaching (20:00, VTV2)
VTV.vn - The Gratitude 2023 program will be broadcast live on Sunday, November 19 at 8:00 pm on VTV2 channel.

After nearly 10 years, the Gratitude 2023 program, produced by the Education and Science Programs Department of Vietnam Television, has become a dedication on every occasion of Vietnam Teacher's Day on November 20.

Every year, the program team chooses a theme that closely follows the current affairs of the education industry, as well as touching stories about exemplary teachers from all over the country. With the theme "I Choose the Teaching Profession," as a thank you to teachers in 2023, four groups of characters will be selected to appear on the program. Through the stories of the teachers, the audience can see that even though there are many difficulties and hardships to face, they still persevere in their choice to be a teacher.

The first group of characters revealed by the team are preschool teachers in the mountainous district of Ba Thuoc, Thanh Hoa Province. They devote themselves wholeheartedly and enthusiastically to the profession of educating children, always full of joy and optimism, despite the many difficulties of teaching in mountainous areas.

The audience will meet teacher Ngoc Ha at Thang Long Secondary School in Hanoi. With comments in the form of handwritten letters, Mrs. Ha encouraged, motivated and helped the students to love literature more.

To express gratitude to teachers, the program also featured teacher Do Thi Huong Tra from the northern province of Cao Bang, who, together with ethnic Tay students, brought robots to the U.S. to compete.

The program also takes viewers to the Central Highlands, where the special story of teacher Nguyen Thi Nhu Yen takes place. For the past 23 years, Ms. Yen has turned her home into a school, teaching countless generations of students.

Tune in to Gratitude 2023 live on Sunday, November 19 at 8:00 pm on VTV2 channel.
