As part of the UN Day of Vesak 2025, the Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City will produce live coverage on VTV of key activities, including the Opening Ceremony, the International Cultural-Artistic Exchange, and the Closing Ceremony. Vesak 2025 serves as an important occasion to spread the message of peace, compassion, unity, and sustainable development. It is also an opportunity to honor Vietnamese Buddhist culture on the global stage.

The International Buddhist Cultural-Artistic Exchange will feature a lineup of renowned artists such as Meritorious Artist Tan Phuong, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, People's Artist My Hang, Meritorious Artists Viet Hoan, Dang Duong, Lan Anh, as well as Duc Tuan, Ho Quynh Huong, Ung Hoang Phuc, Quach Tuan Du, MC Nguyen Khang, and MC Khanh Vy.
This program is not only a cultural highlight of the celebration but also an opportunity for international friends to experience a gentle, profound, and creative Vietnam – a place where spirituality and daily life are intertwined, and where each melody carries messages of compassion, awareness, and love.

The Opening Ceremony on May 6 and the Closing Ceremony on May 8 of the 2025 United Nations Day of Vesak in Ho Chi Minh City will be broadcast live at 8:00 AM on VTV1.
The International Cultural and Artistic Exchange Program will be broadcast live at 8:00 PM on May 7 on VTV9.
