Lim Festival helps preserve heritage of Quan Ho singing in Bac Ninh
VTV.vn - One festival that features a strong cultural history and takes place each spring, attracting both local and international tourists, is the Lim Festival of Tiên Du district, held on the 12th to the 13th of the first lunar calendar month in Bắc Ninh Province.

More than just a festival, the Lim Festival is a place where Quan Ho singing, an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, is preserved and developed.

10 years after being recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of humanity, along with 44 original Quan Ho villages, Bac Ninh has developed nearly 370 villages that practice Quan Ho singing, and has supported nearly 400 Quan Ho clubs in Vietnam and abroad.

Quan Ho singing continues to gain popularity in modern society.
