VTV.vn - An exhibition with 30 photos and 15 panels showcasing Ha Noi's Old Quarter will remian on display in Paris, France until September 19.

The 11-day exhibition is hosted by the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in conjunction with the Vietnamese Embassy in France and the Ha Noi People's Committee. The exhibit aims to appeal to the Vietnamese community living in France, particularly through images of Ha Noi's ancient streets and its efforts to preserve its rich heritage.

Former Hanoians will recognise familiar images of street corners, food vendors and young women wearing the traditional ao dai attire. For some, those images bring feelings of comfort.

"The exhibition reminds me of my delightful visit to Ha Noi, the thousand-year-old city," said Joseph Ahekoe, publication director of the Francophonie Actualites magazine.

"This is a great exhibition," said Olivier Charles, a Paris resident. "The photos of ancient and modern Ha Noi are very impressive, even for those who have not been to the city." Admission is free for all visitors.
