:On the White House’s website, US President Barack Obama claimed that the TPP would open up more markets for US products, as well as play a part in protecting US workers and businesses. The US President also said that he would work with legislators in the US Congress to push the ratification of the TPP.
At the press conference held in Atlanta, US after the negotiations concluded, the Australian Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb said that the TPP would help shape the future for more agreements to come in this 21st century.
Meanwhile, Japanese economy minister Akira Amari said that the TPP would contribute to the establishment of an economic union in which members can trade freely with one another in various fields.
